Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kájov

Come and enjoy a concert at the church in Kájov, which belongs to the oldest Marian places of pilgrimage in Bohemia. Next to the church you will find the Chapel of the Virgin Mary’s Death, where the first wooden church To the Honour of Mother of God used to stand. According to legend Saint Wolfgang, a bishop in Regensburg, had it built in the 10^th century right next to the magic spring. The entire premises of the church in Kájov create a unique preserved whole, inhabited by the nuns of the order of Saint Lawrence of Paula.
