Trio Karageorgiev
All artists have successfully completed their studies at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. They studied chamber music with prof. Adolf Sýkora (former member of the Janáček Quartet). Awards in chamber music:
2010 - 3rd prize Marco Fiorindo-Torino-Italy, 2014 - 1st prize Concorso Internazionale Musica Insieme - Venice region. Concert activity e.g.- Paris, Varna (Varna Summer Festival) Zagreb-Cultural Centre, Slovenj Gradec (Festival Hugo Wolf), Český Krumlov (Festival of Chamber Music), Zlatá Koruna (Royal Festival). The trio performs at concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad.
The Trio has also collaborated with the International Vítězslav Novák Society. The Trio had the honour of playing for the Queen and Prince of Denmark. They will perform works by French composers such as C.Saint-Saens, Gabriel Faure, Chansons by Edith Piaf, Tango by Richard Galliano and many others.
