Rafael is a professional Cuban dancer, world champion in paired salsa and musician who has been dancing and playing musical instruments since he was 7 years old. He graduated from Dance National school. He was a member of the "Danza Contemporanea de Cuba". In London, he danced in the show "Lady Salsa". He won the Open world Salsa Championship twice in 2001 and 2002. He and his partner Yanet Fuentes have participated in festivals throughout England, Asia and Latin America. They have worked on projects in theatres such as "Body of People", "Opera Aida" in Italy, "Strictly Ballroom" and many others. Moved to Prague in 2011, where he joined the "grupo de baileTradicion", he also danced and performed at festivals, TV shows such as "The Voice", "Golden Prague", "CNP", "Rocky", "Tarzan" Now he is working on various Latin projects in Prague and also teaching salsa and many more.
