Concert Bengas
Founded in 2001, the music group Bengas is celebrating a significant milestone this year, marking a quarter-century on the music scene. The ensemble specializes in the Gipsy World Music genre, uniquely blending traditional Romani musical roots with modern global influences. Over their 25-year history, the band has released two original studio albums and established itself as an acclaimed act with an extensive touring history across Europe.
Among the most notable milestones in Bengas' history is their role as the official opening act for the legendary Gipsy Kings, alongside a series of historic firsts. They became the first-ever Romani band to perform at the National Theatre in Prague and sealed their international recognition with a concert at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. (USA). Bengas represent a dynamic musical tradition at the highest professional level.
