Change of performer of opera Gala

We would like to inform you about the change of the performer of the final concert of the Opera Gala. Unfortunately, for health reasons, the Slovak tenor Pavol Bršlík will not perform. However, he will be replaced by a tenor of no less resounding name Pavel Černoch.

This native of Brno is one of the most sought-after tenors of his generation. After his debut at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich as Števa in Jenůfa, he became a permanent guest of the most important opera stages such as La Scala in Milan, the State Opera Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera, the Opera Zurich, the Opéra National de Paris, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the BBC Proms in London and others.

The change will also affect the concert program. An excerpt from the opera L’elisir d’amore by G. Donizetti will be replaced by an aria by José from Carmen by G. Bizet, and instead of L’arlesiana, the breathtaking Puccini’s Tosca will be heard.
