35th Festival Krumlov

17. 7. — 8. 8. 2026

The 35th edition combines tradition and modernity, developing the unique character of the festival, which draws on the genius loci of Český Krumlov and its surroundings. The theme of this year’s festival – Labyrinth of Stories – will take us to 14 concert venues, where music and storytelling will come together in a unified experience.

Concerts in the gardens

The monastery garden is primarily home to the Festival Zone, which offers multi-genre concerts and other varied programs to listeners completely free of charge. However, Sunday afternoons are reserved exclusively for classical music. Concerts in the gardens showcase the next generation of artists who have a bright future ahead of them. The performers choose the program for the gardens themselves. Their only requirement is that we want classical music that will entertain the audience and you, the musicians!

Duo Tesařová & Laštovičková

The new concertmaster of the Prague Philharmonia, Pavla Tesařová, and accordionist Markéta Laštovičková will present a program in the gardens that combines classical music with the temperament of Argentine tango.
