35th Festival Krumlov

17. 7. — 8. 8. 2026

The 35th edition combines tradition and modernity, developing the unique character of the festival, which draws on the genius loci of Český Krumlov and its surroundings. The theme of this year’s festival – Labyrinth of Stories – will take us to 14 concert venues, where music and storytelling will come together in a unified experience.

Chamber series

Yes, it may seem that only large orchestras are a sign of great success, but appearances can be deceiving. Everything great is born from the bottom up. There, the audience is closer to the artist, to the point where the boundary between them disappears – to the benefit of the music. Everything is more intense, even eye contact is established. The Chamber Series also offers maximum variety of locations; it's almost like an expedition, but one where you don't need crampons and ice axes, just an open heart and a generous soul.

Pavel Haas Quartet

A dialogue between tradition and modernity in Czech quartet music. Dvořák’s classical form and Haas’s expressive avant-garde performed by the highly acclaimed Pavel Haas Quartet. The quartet, renowned for the color of its sound, will play in the intimate atmosphere of the Masquerade Hall.
