Tiny philharmonics with chansons

A selection of Czech and international love chansons performed by actress and singer Alena Hladká and pianist Petr Ožana. Alena Hladká is a graduate of Prague’s DAMU (Academy of Performing Arts). She has performed in numerous Prague theaters, including the National Theatre, A studio Rubín, Divadlo Komedie, and Činoherní studio. She was a member of the ensembles at Divadlo Pod Palmovkou and the Municipal Theatre in Mladá Boleslav. Currently a freelancer, she performs chansons with pianist Petr Ožana and explores various musical fusions. Petr Ožana, a composer and pianist, graduated from HAMU (Academy of Music in Prague). He has been dedicated to the chanson genre since 2004, initially collaborating with Filip Sychra, Marta Balejová, and Renata Drössler. He is the leading figure and driving force behind the Association of Voluntary Chansoniers (Sdružení dobrovolných šansonierů). He also collaborates with choirs and choirmasters and has achieved success in classical, non-classical, and improvisation competitions. Among other projects, he has co-created three children's musicals under the direction of singer Drahomíra Vlachová.
