Siebeneichener Quartet

This quartet of young musicians brings a musical journey through the ages to the gardens of Český Krumlov, from Mozart and Dvořák to Borodin and Glass to ragtime and Neapolitan songs. The elegance of classical music cloaked in youthful freshness.

Siebeneichener Quartet consists of four talented young Czech musicians, David Hernych and Marek Pavlica (violins), Dorothea Dalecká Kellerová (viola) and David Pěruška (cello). This ensemble manages to combine the tradition of classical chamber music with openness to new inspirations, appealing to both connoisseurs and a wider audience. They represent a youthful energy that gives their interpretations a completely different character. The concert program offers a varied musical journey from classicism through romantic melodies to 20th-century music. The concert will conclude with compositions that overlap with popular genres. Joplin's famous The Entertainer, Ježek's jazz Bugatti Step, and the Neapolitan song 'O sole mio, arranged for string quartet.
