The 35th edition combines tradition and modernity, developing the unique character of the festival, which draws on the genius loci of Český Krumlov and its surroundings. The theme of this year’s festival – Labyrinth of Stories – will take us to 14 concert venues, where music and storytelling will come together in a unified experience.

Young talents
No one is born knowing everything... This is doubly true for music, perhaps even triply so, because you learn to sing by singing, you learn to play an instrument by playing an instrument, and you become a stage performer by being on stage. That is why it is necessary to continuously give space to new, young talents. We at the Krumlov Festival think about them constantly – after all, they are the future of the Festival; one day we will say: we were there when young Nikolka (Paganini) was just starting out...
Masterclass with Lukáš Vondráček
The piano masterclass is the first joint project of the festival and the Summer Interpretation Courses in Český Krumlov. Selected course participants will have the opportunity to draw inspiration from the piano master. The masterclass will be accompanied by a discussion led by dramaturge Martin Rudovský.

Moon & Kačo / Brahms
Violinist Boha Moon’s first Festival Krumlov concert features Brahms’ concerto and the premiere of compositions by a Czech composer. Pianist and composer Tomáš Kačo will take on the solo part in the premiere of his work The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart, written for the Prague Philharmonia orchestra.
