Church of Corpus Christi and the Grieving Virgin Mary

Enter the premises of the Monastery of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star through the baroque gate, where you will find the Church of Corpus Christi and the Grieving Virgin Mary, which has become a traditional venue of the festival organ concerts. Behind the baroque altar, you will find the oldest preserved organ in Český Krumlov, about which we may say that it is completely original. In the years 1679 to 1682, it was built by organ makers Nicolaus Christeindl and Bernhard Wollerse from České Budějovice. Come to a concert and listen to their irreplaceable sound.
