Divadlo ŠŮS Rokycany brings a classic fairy tale based on the motifs of K. J. Erben. The production is directed by Miroslava Šulcová, with stage design by František Valena and music by Zdeněk Sedláček. Zdeněk Sedláček single-handedly performs and sings the entire show. Here is a classic fairy tale crafted in a traditional format. Puppets – marionettes play, sing, and show off all the tricks they know: Long really stretches out, Broad inflates himself, and Sharpsight sees through everything. All of this takes place both on and off a classic proscenium puppet stage. Suspenseful moments alternate with light relief, and in the end, of course, everything turns out well.
