Červený dvůr Psychiatric Hospital

This surprising concert venue has the charm of one of the most important monuments in Bohemia. The elegance of the Baroque castle meets the tranquility of the extensive English park. In the landscape shaped by the Rožmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg families, romantic garden structures, fountains, and centuries-old views that have retained their European significance invite visitors to take a stroll. The castle itself, which is a cultural monument, has been home to a psychiatric hospital since 1966, but the park is open all year round and the interiors can be visited by appointment. During the festival, the historic, peaceful and healing place of the castle grounds will once again be filled with music, which has always belonged here.
