The tenth year of the International Music Festival Český Krumlov was dedicated to Czech artists. There were performances by interpreters who had already introduced themselves to festival audiences in the previous nine years and who were in some way important to the festival. The cream of Czech interpretational art met in one place, in the middle of Europe, for three weeks (August 3. – 25.). An opera recital by diva Eva Urbanová and an evening of classical musical melodies with Lucie Bílá and tenor Moises Parker took place in the castle’s second courtyard. The concert subtitled A Tribute to the Baroque Era with the violin virtuoso Gabriela Demeterová and the Collegium of Czech Philharmonists was broadcast live on television.
