The second year of the International Music Festival Český Krumlov was a five-day-long display of music. It took place beween August 20th and 25th, 1993. There were two concerts each day. The castle’s Riding Hall became a concert hall for the opening and closing evenings. The international stars of the Czech sky performed at both concerts. The violin virtuoso Ivan Ženatý performed accompanied by Kammerorchester Stuttgart with Martin Sieghart as conductor. The festival concluded with famous opera arias sung by the mezzosoprano Dagmar Pecková. The National Theater Orchestra was directed by Jan Štych.
