Gidon Kremer - Violin

Kremerata Baltica

Gidon Kremer is an elite virtuoso who is a rightful member of the “golden fund” of world’s violinists along with such giants as J. Heifetz, N. Milstein, R. Ricci, or I. Perlmann. The artist has earned his unusual reputation thanks to his soulful musicality, elegant, decent, and sure technique and charming tone that he gets from his master instrument from the famous Amati’s workshop. Kremer’s uniqueness is crowned by the unusual variety of his repertoire that includes compositions from classicism to present days. During his rich career, Kremer has cooperated with leading world’s orchestras and conductors including Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, and Valery Gergiev. Kremer will come to Ćeský Krumlov with his group Kremerata Baltica that has received prestigious awards and has been going from one success to another following its founder.
